OCTOBER IMAGINARY
Come and discover art among professional, exceptional and unique artists through a series of workshops inspired by nature. It’s a chance to understand and demystify the complexity of artistic techniques and creative processes. Each meeting is led by an artist who will share her approach and techniques, and offer you the chance to discover and inspire your own.
These workshops are a real opportunity to experiment, learn and, above all, break down the fears surrounding artistic creation. You don’t have to know how to draw, or be patient, or even have “talent” or sophisticated equipment: art is for everyone! All materials are included for each workshop. All you need is a body, a mind… and a little curiosity. À la manière de…” workshops are above all a time for sharing and freedom, where everyone can discover their own way of making art.
Whatever your age, experience or background, we welcome you.
Set of 4 workshops ($180)
Take advantage of the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the creative world of the workshops, while saving on your entire experience! By choosing all 4 workshops, you give yourself the opportunity to discover the diversity and richness of different artistic practices, while reducing the total cost. It’s an invitation to multiply your discoveries, explore different techniques guided by passionate artists, and let yourself be inspired, each time, by a new vision.

Atelier Avant L'Aube-style workshop: forest exploration, connection and free creation.
$50.00 – $65.00
For this workshop, you’re invited to visit Jane Aline’s mini farm, forest and barn workshop. We’ll take a moment in nature with a guided walk in the forest, an exploration of wild plants and a therapeutic moment with farm animals. Then you’d learn to draw them using sketching techniques to achieve a result that’s stylized, simplistic and detailed. This is a free workshop where you’ll have the opportunity to try out different drawing tools; graphite, charcoal, pastel, colored pencils and ink. This is more than just a drawing class. It’s a moment of creation infused with connection to the subject, to be submerged with plants and animals and to know them as well as recreate them.

Nature Mutante / Kali Dubuc Brousseau
Nature Mutante is an artist-entrepreneur who devotes herself mainly to traditional drawing and hand-crafted books. Her creations offer a dark, mystical and organic universe, inspired essentially by the impermanence of nature and its various metamorphoses. Her production rhythm is slow and intuitive. She is particularly interested in repetitive, random gestures, and favors the action of creating, that which leads her quietly towards an unknown end result.
